Each year the Siskiyou Golden Fair honors an individual, organization or business that has gone above and beyond supporting our fairgrounds.
For 2022, the 10th D.A.A. Board of Directors unanimously selected employee owned and locally operated – Shasta Forest Products to receive the Western Fairs Association “Blue Ribbon Award” for dedicated year-round support of the fairgrounds.
“The Blue Ribbon Award was created to recognize exemplary service within the Western Fairs Association and our community has long benefited from both Shasta Forest Products and their commitment to community service,” stated CEO, Cliff Munson, “The Board and Staff would like to thank Glen and the whole crew for their continued support of the fair and our youth.”
Shasta Forest Products, started in 1975, has provided decorative bark and soil amenities for more than 45 years and became 100% employee owned in 2005. First bedding for all our junior exhibitors has been provided by the Shasta Forest Products team for more than 20 years, and at the flagpole on opening night at 5:00 pm we would like to celebrate Shasta Forest Products by presenting them with the Western Fairs Association Blue Ribbon Award as we all celebrate the 2022 run of our county’s traditions.
